"Beep-beep-beep-" With the sound of an urgent fire alarm, the fire escape drill officially kicked off. The simulated fire was caused by a short circuit, and a large amount of "thick smoke" was quickly generated on site, with the fire showing a tendency to spread. Upon receiving the "fire" notification, the heads of each department immediately organized employees to evacuate in an orderly manner according to the company's emergency plan. Under the guidance of the evacuation guide, employees covered their mouths and noses with wet towels, bent over, and quickly moved along the safe passage, avoiding elevators and areas with open flames, and evacuated to the designated safe assembly point in an orderly manner. Throughout the process, everyone remained calm and collected, without pushing or panicking, and strictly followed the evacuation procedure. Within just 3 minutes, all participating employees safely evacuated to the safe area. Then, the heads of each department quickly counted the number of people and reported the evacuation situation to the drill's overall commander to ensure that no one was left behind.

Practical training to master core fire-fighting skills

Theoretical knowledge should be firmly imprinted in the mind, and practical skills must be solid and proficient. In the theoretical knowledge and practical operation sessions of fire extinguishers, the fire instructor first elaborated on the classification, applicable scenarios, basic structure, and core usage method of "lifting, pulling, grasping, and pressing" of fire extinguishers. "Dry powder fire extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing initial fires caused by flammable liquids such as petroleum and organic solvents, flammable gases, and electrical equipment; carbon dioxide fire extinguishers are suitable for extinguishing fires caused by valuable equipment, archival materials, etc..." Firefighters explained the precautions for using different types of fire extinguishers based on their characteristics, emphasizing that during operation, they should stand in the upwind direction, maintain a safe distance from the fire source, and aim at the base of the flame to spray.

After the theoretical explanation, the employees were divided into groups for practical operation. Everyone picked up a fire extinguisher and, following the methods imparted by the firefighters, standardizedly completed a series of actions such as lifting the bottle, pulling the pin, holding the hose, pressing the valve, and accurately spraying at the simulated fire point, successfully extinguishing the "fire". For employees who operated irregularly, the firefighters promptly stepped forward to correct them and provided hands-on guidance to ensure that every employee could proficiently master the use of fire extinguishers.

Practical operation of water guns, building a solid emergency rescue defense line

As an important equipment in fire fighting, the operation and use of fire hoses directly affect the efficiency of fire extinguishment. The firefighters first introduced to the employees the theoretical knowledge of fire hoses, including their types, working principles, connection methods, water pressure control, and different applicable scenarios.

At the practical operation site, the firefighters first gave a demonstration. They skillfully connected the hoses, opened the valves, and controlled the spray direction of the water nozzle, ensuring that the water flowed precisely towards the target area. The employees continuously explored techniques during the practice. Although they were somewhat unfamiliar with the operation at first, under the patient guidance of the firefighters, they gradually grasped the essentials. Streams of water sprayed out precisely, demonstrating good learning outcomes.
