On May 13th, the strategic cooperation signing ceremony between GAC Automotive Parts Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as GAC) and Ningbo Lijin Plastic Machinery Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Lijin Plastic Machinery) was held grandly in Changshu, Jiangsu. Mr. Xu Xuefeng, Deputy Director of Dongbang Town Economic Development Bureau, Mr. Pan Xiaogang, Deputy Director of Investment Promotion Office of Dongbang Town Economic Development Bureau, Mr. Wu Zhenguo, General Manager of Liuzhou Yiyang Technology Co., Ltd., Mr. Zhang Lianping, Chairman and General Manager of Gates, Mr. Wang Fenghua, Deputy General Manager of Gates, Mr. Zhuo Wenjun, Sales Director of Lijin Plastic Machinery, and other major guest representatives attended the strategic signing ceremony.

The second phase of the Gaz Dong Bang factory project will continue to focus on the research and production of wheel decorative parts for the automotive industry. The total production area of the injection molding workshop planned for the project is 20000 square meters, including an automated injection molding unit consisting of 18 injection molding machines and automated robotic arms. To build an intelligent injection molding factory for the entire plant, the intelligent MES management of Lijin Plastic Machinery, centralized feeding and intelligent water, electricity and gas solutions for the entire plant will be adopted. At the same time, the third phase project has also initiated project planning.

Mr. Zhang from GAC Motor stated that the GAC Dongbang Phase II project is not only to cope with the expansion of production capacity, but also a strategic upgrade for GAC towards automation and intelligence.
